808s Bass Drum Builder

Build powerful 808s melodic kick drums!

Combine impacts from 20 drum samples with 13 different sustain tones. There are 260 possible combinations of impact and sustain sounds. Customize both the impact and tone sounds with convenient Macro Knobs, and mix them to perfection.

Open the Rack up to get access to more details of both the Impact and Tone portions of the sound.

808s Bass Drum Impacts

This Instrument Rack is the initial impact sound the bass drum makes. Choose between 20 different impact sounds that range from clicky and up front to mellow and soft.

Customize the sound by changing its duration and pitch. Then filter out the high frequencies and add some Dirt and Grit.

808s Tones - Melodic Synth

The Instrument Rack provides the sustain tone of the bass drum sound. Choose from 13 different synthesized sounds as the basis of the tone. Then customize it with Attack and Release. Widen the tone with the Tone Spread control. Then use the Filter controls to remove high frequencies and change the timbre over time.

This Instrument Rack works well as a playable synth tone. Create chords, pads, leads, and melodies, as well as thunderous bass tones.

808s Rytm Bass Drums

This Drum Rack contains 60 long sustained bass drum sounds, synthesized with the Elektron Analog Rytm drum machine. Each sound has its own unique character and texture. They are all pitched to a G Note, but you can use the Transpose knob to change the pitch to fit your track. Then use the Filter controls to find the perfect fit in the mix.

808s Rytm Bass Drum Synths (monophonic and polyphonic versions)

The synthesized Elektron Analog Rytm bass drums are used to create playable synthesizers. They are perfect for melodic bass drums or they can be used to create other instrument sounds.

Use the Macro Controls to select between 60 different bass drum sound sources, and customize with various effects.
