Casio MT65 Ableton Live Pack
The classic Casiotone MT65 faithfully recreated and taken to all new levels in Ableton Live. All 20 presets are included, as well as 20 new presets created by running the MT65 through the Hologram Chroma Console. This Ableton Live Pack can take you back to 1983 and straight into the future. Also includes all 12 Rhythms and all 12 Fills. There’s even a Drum Rack with each of the drum sounds so you can build your own unique beats.

Casiotone MT65 Electronic Musical Instrument
The Casio MT65 is a simple, fun synthesizer, complete with 20 instrument sounds and 12 rhythms. Although quite simple sounding, it’s a machine filled with nostalgia and a 1983 charm to it. I’ve captured its unique charm and taken it to all new sonic levels with the Casio MT65 Ableton Live Pack.
The Casio MT65 Ableton Live Instrument
I multi-sampled every preset and rebuilt the MT65 in an Ableton Live Instrument Rack. The default state of the instrument is true to the original sound. You can scroll through the 20 original presets with the “MT65 Preset” Macro. You can use the 16 Macros to sculpt your sound into pads, plucks, and leads. The filter controls allow you to change the sonic character of each preset. The original Vibrato can be added with the turn of a knob. Add a widening “Magic Space,” as well as Delay and Reverb. The “Casio Dust” control adds a touch of noise that you might find on an aged MT65.
Use the Macro Variations to instantly transport each preset to new sonic territories. A simple click of the “Original Casio” Macro Variation Preset will bring you back to the MT65’s original state.
Enter the Chroma Console…
Hologram’s Chroma Console Multi-Effector is perfect for adding character and dimension to any sound. The MT65 begged me to run through.
I recorded another 20 samples using a variety of the Chroma Consoles effect chains. The MT65 sounds come out distorted, moving, echoing, and colored. Whether it was the Sweeten Overdrive, the Reels Delay, or the Cassette Tape textures, the Chroma Console really took the MT65 to exciting places.
The Casio MT65 Turbo Ableton Live Instrument contains those 20 sounds, all selectable with the Sample Selector Macro Control. In addition to the controls in the above Instrument Rack, this one allows you to add FM synthesis to the sounds. The Turbo Instrument is a lot of fun!
Rhythm Clips and Drum Rack
I sampled each of the 12 Rhythms and 12 Rhythm Fills. They are in tempo-synced Ableton Live Clips so you can drag them into any project and start jamming along.
After isolating each drum sound, I place them into a Drum Rack so you can process each sound and construct new beats for your latest tracks.
