TLDR: Free Download: 4 Spring Reverb presets for Ableton Live's Hybrid Reverb.

How cool would it be if I could make any sound in my music sound like it is going through the spring reverb on my tube guitar amplifiers?

I've got a Supro Amulet (left) and a Fender Deluxe (right) that both have beautiful spring reverbs. I recorded muted guitar strums to create Impulse Responses (which are really just samples) of each and place them inside Ableton Live's Hybrid Reverb. Now I can add those specific reverbs to any sound I want.

For the Birds... 🦜

While I was doing this, I had the windows open and could hear the morning birds signing. I sampled those sounds and combined them with the spring reverb recordings. Then I put those into Hybrid Reverb and created some really nice textured "bird-verbs."

These reverbs really make anything sound like they are coming straight out of my guitar amps!

If you don't have Ableton Live's Hybrid Reverb, you can drop the samples into any Convolution Reverb Plug-in.
